Facilio’s AI- based property operations platform will enable
Australian commercial real estate portfolios to remotely
optimize O&M efficiency, lower energy costs, and exceed
sustainability targets
Sydney, November 3, 2022:
Facilio, a leader in the property operations & maintenance
software space, will be showcasing their AI-based Connected
Buildings solution at the region’s largest real estate
event—the
Real Estate Innovation Festival
(REIF) — organized by Future Place on November 8, 2022, at
Hilton Sydney
The commercial building sector is responsible for around 25%
of overall electricity use and 10% of total carbon emissions
in Australia. Improving building energy efficiency performance
is one of the most cost-effective ways to reduce carbon
emissions, lower energy use, attract better tenants and
deliver operational savings.
Facilio’s
connected building suite
helps real estate owners to remotely monitor and control
systems, deploy optimization strategies at scale, and improve
energy savings & asset performance of their portfolios.
During the event, Facilio’s co-founder Krishnamoorthy
Rangasamy will speak on how commercial building portfolio
owners can achieve their decarbonizing goals by using digital
retrofits. His co-panelists for the discussion include Andrew
Neary, Executive Director of PGIM Real Estate; Davina Rooney,
CEO of Australian Green Building Council; Susanne
Eickermann-Riepe, Chair of the RICS European World Regional
Board; and Kent Jan, Hongkong Land's Director & Head of
Development.
Facilio powers Investa Property Group, one of Australia’s
largest commercial office real estate developers, with their
Connected CMMS solution,
replacing multiple systems
across Investa’s approximately 703,000 square meter portfolio
to create a unified platform for real estate operations.
Paul Vandervlis, GM - Facilities Services of Investa will be
presenting at the CRE seminar theater on Nov 9 and will talk
about “How digitizing portfolio operations improved tenant
experience, & increased process efficiency” by adopting a
platform-first Connected CMMS approach.
To accelerate adoption of their software platform in the ANZ
market and strengthen their footprint in Australia, Facilio
recently inked
partnerships with Airmaster, a building services company providing smart building
solutions across Australia, and Nejavi, a sales advisory and
delivery service, to help Australian companies across retail,
commercial office and healthcare to leverage their existing
supervisory controls infrastructure to deploy IoT-led
high-performance portfolio operations.
