Scanning QR Code

Asset tracking in real-time can be made easy and cost-effective irrespective of the asset's location by using QR codes. The QR Code for the asset stores every information about the asset. As a result, it eliminates the chances of accessing incorrect assets and reduces the effort to identify the right asset.

The printed QR code generated on the web can be pasted over the asset, which in turn can be scanned through the mobile application to obtain the required details and specifications of the asset. To scan a QR code,

  1. Click the Assets in the menu screen. All assets are displayed by default.
  2. Click the searchIcon (scan) icon at the top right of the screen.
  3. Now, scan the QR code on the asset using the mobile camera. The camera reads the QR code and displays the corresponding asset summary.

If there is no exact match of the asset while scanning the QR code the following invalid message appears.
