Overview

The application allows you to efficiently plan the allocation and utilization of the spaces in a facility. Spaces are registered as a part of a floor, building, or site, depending on its purpose and location, to interpret the hierarchy better. Categorization plays a critical role in determining the usage of a space (for example, meeting, recreation, and so on). You can create various categories in the Space Categories module of the application, which can be tagged against a space when it is newly added to the Portfolio module. These categories can help you filter the specific units that fall under a particular type in a building, part of a building, or site. This way of segregation is crucial when there is a requirement to implement required activities over a selected set of units at once. For example, you can configure the Condition Manager module to trigger an email to the specified user(s) at the instance of a meeting room booking on a specific floor. Typically, space categories differentiate the various types of spaces that need to be tracked, managed, and analyzed in a particular manner and are used to describe space use nuances better.
