Operating Hours

Operating hours are generally expressed as the business hours or working hours of an organization. It is the time expressed in hours (for example, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM) during which an organization delivers services to the clients.

Most organizations have offices situated at different locations across the globe, operating in varied time zones. And it makes it difficult for the clients to predict the business hours of such a geographically dispersed team. Specifying the operating hours in the company profile provides a clear understanding to the clients on when to reach out to the company to avail their services.

Overview

The application allows administrators to configure the operating hours, which in turn can be assigned for the sites, buildings, and assets. This setting, when assigned to a site or building, determines that the site or building is accessible only during the defined hours.

Managing Operating Hours

The Operating Hours module allows configuring the possible operating hours that can be used across the application.The Operating Hours screen appears with the list of configured Operating Hours as shown below.

Assigning Operating Hours

The operating hours created in this module can be used while assigning operating hours for sites, assets, and buildings across the application. This section illustrates a sample configuration in the Assets module.
