Space Categories

Space categorization refers to tagging or grouping of physical premises utilized for similar purposes under relevant labels. Space within a building is categorized into different types such as a meeting room, store room, and so on to meet specific needs (for example, store rooms are the spaces allotted for organizing record books, stationeries, and inventories). The accurate space categorization provides better insight into space occupancy and other relevant details. More importantly, it allows the administrators to identify, isolate and resolve potential facility issues, recognize trends, and precisely work on initiatives to fulfill the facility requirements. For instance, if the collated space information shows that the demand for the meeting rooms are high, and there are other space category units that are less utilized, you may make adjustments to the floor plan accordingly.
