Tabs Accessible:β
In offline mode, Summary and Tasks tabs will only be accessible within a work order record.
Actions Supported in Offline Mode:β
The following actions can be performed while working in offline mode:
Update task inputs such as Text, Number, Options, and Readings (with units).
Close or reopen existing tasks.
Upload attachments and add comments to tasks.
Capture work duration automatically β from Start Work to Close.
Attach Before and After task photos.
All mandatory task validations, such as required photos or input fields, will continue to be enforced.
Defined System button actions will be executed.
When pausing a work order, the app captures pause comments for reference.
Restricted Actions in Offline Mode:β
The following actions are not available when working offline:
Creating, editing, or deleting work orders.
Adding items, tools, services, or labor.
Raising inventory requests from plans or actuals.
Reporting downtime for equipment or assets.
Printing or downloading work orders.
Task validations such as deviations or creation of deviated/remedial work orders.
SLA escalations and related actions are delayed until the app is back online.
Custom workflows, stateflows, notifications, and emails that normally run online will not function in offline mode.
Platform customizations such as connected apps or custom buttons are not supported while offline.
Data Synchronization in Online Mode:β
When the device reconnects to the internet, all updates made while offline are automatically synchronized in the background. Users donβt need to take any manual action, and a notification confirms once the sync is complete.
After synchronization:
All automated actions, such as emails, notifications, and workflows, resume as they normally would in online mode.
SLA calculations are re-executed based on the time the technician clicked Start Work while offline. If any SLA breach is identified during this recheck, the corresponding escalation actions will trigger automatically.
There are no limits on the number of records that can be synchronized once the device reconnects.
This ensures that every update performed offline is securely captured and reflected across the system once the app returns online.
