Introduction to Mobile Application

Mobile applications are simplified and limited versions of web applications in terms of both content and operation. Mobile apps can let users set up their preferences at the start, based on which users can get served with customized content and permissions. The mobile app content is systematically organized for getting work done between meetings, busy schedules, breaks, and even when you're off work. Moreover, their functionalities can be limited to executing only the most required and crucial tasks for improved user experience.

Advantages of Mobile Applications

The mobile apps are preferred over the web application mainly for the following reasons:

  • They are much faster, and tend to be more advanced in terms of features and functionality.
  • They make the communication more effective through push and in-app notifications eliminating the requirement to check email frequently.
  • They have the advantage of utilizing features of a mobile device like a camera, GPS, contact list, phone calls, compass, accelerometer and others to complete a task.
  • They are designed with several elaborate functions based on advanced gestures like tap, swipe, drag, hold, and more making the application more interactive.
