Overview

The Filtered Alarms module is designed to enhance the efficiency of the monitoring process, offering a targeted approach to identifying and prioritizing alarms based on predefined criteria. The module ensures a systematic filtering of alarms, recording them as filtered alarms when specific conditions are met.

Initially, all incoming alarms undergo a verification process against the alarm correlation rule. If an incoming alarm aligns with the predefined conditions outlined in the alarm correlation rule, it generates a filtered alarm. The alarm correlation rule contains crucial details that govern the entire filtering process, encompassing the criteria and conditions that determine whether an alarm qualifies for filtration. The specifics of the alarm correlation rule can vary significantly based on the chosen alarm strategy. The Filtered Alarms module stands as a strategic tool, providing a refined and selective approach to monitoring critical alarms within the broader operational landscape.
