Working of a Scope

Let us consider you have enabled a scope rule for the main application (Facilio) configured to display the work orders corresponding to the site(s) accessible for the users, and a user logs in to the application who has access permission enabled for the Washington and Minnesota sites.

When the user navigates to the Work Orders module, the application displays only the Washington and Minnesota related items in the list view, whereas other modules display data for all sites as they do not have scope configured.

If you have enabled the switch corresponding to the scope, a filter is displayed to let you switch between the data for both sites.

Note: Although the scope is configured only for the Work Orders module, the switch enabled is visible throughout the application and active across all modules.
