Overview
Scoping is a technique controlling the data on what an application should display, where a scoping rule is a criterion or condition based on which the applications implement scoping. As a part of administrator settings, the Scoping module of the application lets you manage data access permissions by defining scoping rules with regard to the organization's requirements.
You can create separate sets of scoping rules for the main application and other portals (Tenant, Vendor, and so on). Moreover, every scope defined can impact the data displayed across various modules within the application. In addition, this module enables you to control the scoping through a switch, which finds its purpose when multiple components of the same category fall under the defined scope. Finally, note that scoping doesn't apply to the "Super Administrator".
