Overview

In Facilio, the user information or content is segregated creating individual portals for various users and/or activities. A portal is a repository of information and functionality that can be made available to the end-users. It presents diverse content to users through a consistent and unified web-based interface. The Portals module contains the uniform resource location (URL) of all the portals created as a part of the application, for the users to access their associated resources.

The application offers distinct portals for users belonging to various user categories (that is, occupant, tenant, vendor and so on). On the other hand, the application has separate portal configured for managing maintenance activities upon grouping the service related modules (for example, Workorders and Planned Maintenance), whereas the IoT (Internet of Things) related modules (for example, Triggers, Alarms and Alarm Mapping) are grouped constituting the Agent portal.

The URL for the users to access these portals are available in the Portals and Workcenters sections of this module. The administrators can customize portals and workcenters layout, authentication, and authorization settings and present content based on user preferences or role-based personalization.

Note: A portal can have separate views configured for desktop and mobile access.
