Basic Components

This module revolves around the following components:

Component	Description
Approval	Approval is the act of sharing consent for a task (usually a record, in Facilio)
Approver	An approver is an individual or any member belonging to a particular group or role, who is authorized to approve a request
User	A user refers to any contact in an organization. Example: test@facilio.com
User group	A users group is a set of people (users) belonging to a particular team. Example: Facility management, security
Role	A role controls which actions must be visible to a user, group of users, or users in an organization Example: Administrator, employee
Record	A record (sometimes called a row) is a group of fields within a database that are relevant to a specific entity. Example: Details specific to an asset like asset name, type and purchased date constitute a record in the Asset module
Module	A module is a business application task, where the set of related functionalities are grouped into a single entity Example: Portfolio, maintenance
Action	An action refers to the activity configured as a result of an approval step. Example: Sending email or mobile notification
