Approvals

Approval is a feature that enables users or groups to approve or reject a task. It is an automated process that an organization uses to approve records in the application. When records are submitted for approval, they are approved by the users in the organization, who are referred as approvers.

It is crucial for an administrator to configure approval for certain tasks in selected modules, to refrain unauthorized users from accessing or modifying critical information, which in turn promotes data security and integrity. Also, it is the responsibility of the administrator to carefully configure every aspect of the approval (that is, approver, actions and so on) before it is enabled for any module in an application.
