As each survey has its own goal, its purpose is to help develop an awareness of customers' perspectives and expectations, leading to process improvement.

The following are the details to focus on while working with surveys:

  • Before preparing the survey questionnaire, understand the objectives and decide on the information to capture, ensuring the survey is relevant.
  • Design the survey with questions and response options that are clear, concise, and unbiased.
  • Test the survey before finalizing it to ensure it's effective and accurately measures what it intends to.
  • Allow a reasonable response time for the respondents (at least three days), considering the week-offs (generally two days) during which the candidate might not respond.
  • Ensure to pass on the survey in an appropriate scenario to the right candidate, as the accuracy of the responses depends on choosing the correct respondent based on the situation.
