Executing an Appointment

This section explains a typical workflow followed from dispatching to completion. Once an appointment is created, it must be dispatched to execute the maintenance activity.

To execute an appointment,

  1. Click on the appointment. The corresponding details screen appears as shown below.

  2. Click Dispatch at the top right corner of the screen. The Dispatch screen appears.

  3. Select the field agent name and click Dispatch. Once the appointment is dispatched, the status changes to ‘Dispatched’ as shown below.

  4. Click Start Work to initiate work on this appointment.

  5. Click Start Work in the above prompt to begin processing the work order. The status changes to ‘In Progress’ while performing the task.

    Note: The status of the corresponding work order in the Work Order section will also be automatically updated to ‘In Progress’.

    You can click the searchIcon (vertical ellipsis) icon to Reschedule and Edit the appointment respectively. To cancel the appointment, you can click the Cancel button and the status of the appointment will be updated as ‘Canceled’.

  6. After completing all the tasks, click Complete Work at the top right corner of the screen.

    The service is completed successfully and the status changes to ‘Completed’.
