OData Configuration For Modules

The application allows you to define the modules whose data can be shared with third-party applications. Adding a module into the Modules section of the Odata Configuration screen enables the capability of the module to connect to other applications for data sharing.

You can simply use the ADD MODULE button at the top right to add a module to this section. Once a module is added you can copy the corresponding OData URL (using icon) to configure data sharing for the module (read the Integrating Facilio Data section for more information). After the configuration is complete, a connection is established from the third-party application to the data configured as a part of the views of the particular module. Further, by applying analytical techniques in the application, you can process and visualize the required data at your convenience.

You can control the data sharing upon customizing the columns configured as a part of the views, as only the columns in the module views are exposed to other applications.

In case you want to restrict data sharing for a particular module in this section you can use the corresponding (toggle button) and (delete) icon to disable or delete the OData permissions for the module, respectively.
